Cecilia is a piano and flute teacher with 10 years of private and classroom teaching experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Performance) and Music Education at the University of New South Wales and a Diploma in Kodály Concept of Music Education with Piano Pedagogy Specialisation and Musicianship from the Kodály Institute in Kecskemét in Hungary.

Cecilia is a piano and flute teacher with 10 years of private and classroom teaching experience following completion of a Bachelor of Music (Performance) and Music Education at the University of New South Wales.

Her experience as private piano and flute teacher involves working with students from elementary to advanced levels and also preparing eager students for practical and theory examinations. Further, her classroom music teaching exposure contributes to her capacity to work with students from all age groups and abilities particularly in group settings in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Teaching Experience

During her stay in the United Kingdom, she discovered the Kodály concept of music education, which transformed her teaching style and understanding of music. This introduction prompted her to continue undertaking professional development and study at the Kodály Institute in Kecskemét in Hungary with music educators from around the world. Cecilia was awarded with a Diploma in Kodály Concept of Music Education with Piano Pedagogy Specialisation and Musicianship.

Cecilia currently teaches flute at a number of schools across Sydney and actively encourages her students to be involved in school band programs to improve their ensemble skills. She also maintains private piano students at several music schools in Sydney.
