Early Childhood Programs

It is never too early to start your child's music education. Children, even toddlers, respond positively to early interactions with music and can thrive in a structured and playful musical environment. Through an introduction to musical instruments and singing nursery rhymes, early childhood classes develop children’s listening, social skills, basic motor skills, appreciation of sound and lay the foundation for future instrumental lessons.

The Musical Playroom offers fun lessons for children aged 0 - 5 years with their parents at Lane Cove Music and Cultural Centre.

Caroline Killar runs these classes.

Through music, singing and nursery rhymes the class develops children’s listening, social skills, basic motor skills, appreciation of sound and lays the foundation for future instrumental lessons.
