Helen is currently the Secretary of the Association
When Helen retired from full time work in banking in 2011, she took up the clarinet and bass clarinet. She has been taking clarinet lessons through Lane Cove Music and Cultural Centre since she began playing in 2011.
Helen now plays bass clarinet in two bands under the Lane Cove Concert Band banner; the Karingal Concert Band and a small wind ensemble Tambourine Bay Winds, as well as being part of another small wind ensemble called Windjammers.
After discovering clarinet only recently Helen is passionate about getting people involved in the wonderful world of learning a new instrument as an adult.
