Helen Weaver is an experienced singer with extensive teaching and industry experience. Her styles range from classical through to pop and jazz.

She corrects, guides, develops, and strengthens voices and teaches correct breathing. She loves to coach performance stagecraft skills and can teach Music theory and Musicianship during lessons. She believes that having fun while learning is crucial to achieving success.

Availability: Monday and Wednesday and Sundays

Helen Weaver is an experienced singer with extensive teaching and industry experience.

Her styles range from classical through to pop and jazz as imparts her knowledge of singing in fun and educational classes, always mindful of healthy and easy voice production.

Helen is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium (Diploma of Music) and Sydney Conservatorium of Music
(Diploma in Operatic Art) and has performed with Opera Australia and the Queensland Opera.

Helen has also had studio work for several contemporary artists and has also appeared regularly as a guest artist on Cruises, singing in varied styles. She corrects, guides, develops, and strengthens voices and teaches correct breathing. She loves to coach performance stagecraft skills and can teach Music theory and Musicianship during lessons.

Helen uses a variety of resources to support her students to achieve great results and offers several
choices of study, depending on the students’ goals. AMEB Classical, AMEB Musical Theatre (exams not compulsory)
or unstructured (tailored to suit the individual student). These are the learning options currently offered.

She also encourages students to sing their own choice of song, along with lesson pieces, should there
be a favourite they love or a style they prefer.


She believes that having fun while learning is crucial to achieving success, so long as the singing is healthy!
