Suzuki Cello, Cello, Accompanist
Makito Mizushima is a young music teacher and cellist who has been Suzuki-raised and trained.
Makito has been trained by Mr Takao Mizushima (Teacher Trainer).
He has been teaching since 2018 and is undergoing Certificate III training under the Suzuki method.
Starting cello at the age of just 2 and a half, his experience in the music world has vast breadth, from orchestras, chamber music gigs, solo performances, exams, piano accompaniment and a tutor.
Makito is a capable sight reader and has a comprehensive music theory education - he completed Grade 6 Musicianship with Honours at age 12.
He has an AMus in Cello, and an AMus and LMus (Distinction) for Organ.
Outside music, Makito is also pursuing a career in Information Technology - something he has had a passion for since he was 10 years old.
